Laser Plumbing Taupo

Laser Plumbing Taupo is committed to supporting the plumbing and drainlaying industries by providing training opportunities for new employees and apprentices. Its first apprentice, Matt Adams, is only six months away from completing his time, and the company is in discussions with a school leaver who is to begin an apprenticeship in 2009. Laser Plumbing has employed staff from South Africa and the UK to complement the skills of its New Zealand plumbers.

First established in 1998 as Merwood Plumbing & Drainage Ltd, the company has grown to become the largest plumbing business in the Taupo region. In 2008, it joined the Laser Group to become Laser Plumbing Taupo.

Laser Plumbing Taupo offers commercial and residential maintenance and servicing, drainlaying, solar water heating, waste management and heating solutions.
